The book MORRISSEY described as being "Very Attractive"

The Day I Met Morrissey

They look like him, they speak like him. They worship the very ground he walks on. And when obsessive fan actually meets Morrissey, worlds turn upside down. The Day I Met Morrissey contains real-life accounts from fans who for a split second found themselves in the right place at the right time.

There's a chance encounter at Wilmslow train station in 1985 when a tongue-tied teen fulfils her dream. More dramatic Morrissey meetings come in perfumeries, airport lounges and by the Pic'n'mix at Woolworths.

You can order the book through this site. Otherwise you will see me on the rack, easy meat and a reasonably good buy, selling the tome on the Morrissey tour in June 2011. I will be outside the venues post gig at Inverness, Dunoon, York and Bradford.

Have you met Morrissey? Dickie is plotting a follow-up book - working title "Morrissey International Airport". We want to hear from Morrissey fans who travel great distances to follow the star, or have a tattoo of their hero, or named their children after him. If you fit the bill contact Dickie.
